Now is your opportunity to join us. We are currently looking for the Commercial Director, Digital Solutions, to join our growing team.

Under the direction of Head of Digital Solutions & North America Growth Officer, the Commercial Director, Digital Solutions, will be the “Face of Digital” to external customers as well as internal stakeholders in North America. This person is responsible for the development and ownership of Polygon’s North American Digital Solutions sales strategy and execution plan in tight collaboration with Polygon US and Polygon Canada management and should be well-versed in commercial, operational and technical use of digital offerings. The Commercial Director will strategically connect business units, end customers, and product management to develop an effective sales strategy that integrates risk prevention and process solutions, driving growth in Polygon’s North American services for the Construction Sector and Built Environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven B2B sales leadership with previous experience leading a sales team either directly or in a matrixed organization with excellent financial results
  • Construction industry experience, preferably from construction insurance, with a proven network poised to enable instant traction and revenue generation; ideal candidate would also have experience from the Property/Facility Management or Hospitality sectors.
  • Demonstrated significant experience in selling IoT offerings and/or SaaS applications to accelerate customer growth
  • A strategic mindset and ability to set and execute successfully on commercial strategy, proven ability to close sales, and the willingness to collaborate to reach results
  • A curious, results-oriented approach to growing Digital Sales in North America

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accelerate Digital Solutions top-line growth with a healthy margin
  • Build and sell scalable offerings for large clients through non-customized, standardized solutions
  • Lead the charge in marketing Polygon Digital Solutions through physical events as well as over digital channels
  • Motivate and educate PUS/PCA sales team on how and why to sell Digital offerings to customers
  • Foster open communication and collaboration with Digital Solutions Product Management (located in Europe) to ensure alignment on current and future offerings across internal teams and the external network
  • Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge and be well-versed in the commercial, operational, and technical aspects of the Polygon business
  • Develop and own the Digital Solutions sales strategy and execution plan, taking a hands-on approach to implementation both independently and in collaboration with PUS and PCA sales teams, as well as potential go-to-market partners
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop digital pricing strategies

Job Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or higher, preferably with an Engineering (or similar technical education) background
  • 8-15 years of experience in the Construction Industry or the Managed Property field
  • Willingness to travel as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be eligible for international travel.

Total Compensation: $200,000-$225,000 at plan
