DOPV is a joint venture between Deep Ocean Partners (New York) and Polymath Ventures (Mexico City), combining institutional private credit expertise with deep operating knowledge of tech companies, local capital markets, and legal structures in Mexico.

We are a data science–led and AI-enabled private credit platform, focused on providing asset-backed lending (ABL) solutions to fintech, B2B SaaS, eCommerce, and other tech-enabled companies in Mexico. Our products include structured credit, factoring, and working capital facilities ranging from MXN $100–1,000 million ($5–50M USD equivalent), designed to scale alongside fast-growing businesses.

We are looking for a Private Credit Associate to join our team. We seek an analytical, sharp, and hardworking individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in financial modeling. This person will play a key role in managing sourcing, pipeline analysis, and investment materials, working closely with our fund and credit teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Source and manage the pipeline of private credit investments
• Evaluate business model and credit performance of potential investments 
• Prepare investment memos and materials for internal review
• Support deal structuring and due diligence processes
• Assist with portfolio management and loan operationals
• Prepare investor materials and collaborate with the Capital Markets team to better attract new investors to the Private Credit strategy
  
  

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or strategic finance
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and market analysis
• Familiarity with sourcing, pipeline management, and creating investment materials
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Spanish
• Strategic, detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and eagerness to take on new challenges
• High degree of independence and the ability to manage tasks autonomously
• Highly motivated to grow within the investment space, with a particular interest in private credit

• Prior experience in private credit is preferred
