The Opportunity

The Product Operations Manager will play a critical role in the success of our Product Organization by establishing and scaling best practices that drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and product excellence. This position will champion a product-led approach, ensuring that our strategies align with customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Operations Excellence:
    • Develop and implement best practices for Product Operations, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration and efficient product development processes.
    • Drive operational efficiencies by refining workflows, optimizing tools and systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Lead the adoption and integration of the Vista Equity Partners playbook, tailoring its principles to fit our organizational needs and driving measurable improvements in product outcomes.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that reflect our commitment to excellence, guiding the team in achieving operational and strategic goals.
  • Gen AI Leadership:
    • Lead the exploration and application of Generative AI technologies to enhance product development, customer insights, and overall technology innovation.
    • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions that improve product features, optimize workflows, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Data Operations:
    • Manage and maintain data integrity across product operations.
    • Oversee data analysis and reporting to inform product decisions.
    • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
    • Report key metrics and progress to product leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Min 7 + years experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!) and data analysis/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of software development processes and cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their application in product and technology environments.
  • Business acumen with the ability to align product operations with broader organizational goals.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams, including mentoring and conflict resolution.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an awareness of emerging technologies and trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
