The Opportunity

Poppulo sees unique opportunity in employing AI to improve communication content and workflow under the umbrella of Poppulo AI. The Harmony platform has wide-ranging capabilities across different communication channels. These can be integrated to improve engineering efficiency and customer experience. To address these opportunities, we are expanding our engineering teams at Poppulo in India in addition to our engineering teams in USA, England and Ireland. We value strong, enthusiastic engineers who are excited to learn and work with new technologies. You will work alongside a fun, and highly motivated team of cross functional engineers (Development, QA, PM, UX/UI, Big Data). Writing high quality, secure and scalable code, we follow agile culture to develop exciting products that meet our clients’ current & future needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a SDE2 FrontEnd Engineer, you will take ownership of features, modules, or products depending on the scope. You will write and review code based on modern software engineering development best practices. Your responsibilities include unit testing, ensuring code quality and optimising performance. Ownership of product delivery involves ensuring error-free production deployments and troubleshooting system issues. 

Must-Haves: 

  • 4-7 years of development experience in frontend technologies.
  • Expertise in React.js (React 16+)
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux Toolkit, Recoil, or Zustand.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for scalable and maintainable frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Chakra UI.
  • Experience developing single-page applications (SPAs).
  • Proficiency with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Experience with frontend build tools and module bundlers like Webpack, Vite, or ESBuild.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes for frontend applications.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 

Nice to Have: 

  • AWS experience
  • Proficiency with Java or GoLang
  • Experience in Angular (12+) and hybrid frontend architectures. 
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect).
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Sentry.
  • Familiarity in event-driven architectures using WebSockets, Kafka, or Firebase Realtime Database.
  • Experience with internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (WCAG).

  • High level of ownership of the full-stack product. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative engineering culture.
