We are looking for a highly analytical and hands-on Engineering and Product Operations Engineer/Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in driving operational excellence across engineering and product teams by leveraging tools like Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Jellyfish, and Pendo. You will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and correlating data from these systems to generate actionable insights that support efficient product development and timely releases aligned with our organizational roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tool Ownership & Data Extraction: Manage and operate key platforms (Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Jellyfish, Pendo) to extract relevant operational and product data.
  • Insight Generation: Analyze engineering and product metrics to identify trends, correlations, and root causes that impact delivery velocity, quality, and roadmap alignment.
  • Operational Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into team performance, product usage, and delivery health.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to translate data into insights and recommend actions that improve team efficiency and product outcomes.
  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in engineering and product workflows and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Present findings clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with best practices in engineering/product operations and analytics tooling to continuously enhance operational capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in engineering operations, product operations, data analytics, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Jellyfish, and Pendo.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of software development and product management processes.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to convey complex data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with SQL or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for custom data analysis.
  • Experience in SaaS or product-led growth environments.
  • Exposure to OKR frameworks and performance measurement systems.
