Job Summary
As part of Poppulo’s recently established Technical Program Management team, this role offers the opportunity to help shape how we deliver strategic initiatives across Product and Technology.
The Technical Program Manager will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to enable scalable execution, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment. This role is responsible for delivering strategic programs, improving delivery practices, increasing portfolio visibility, and enabling successful business outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who excels in a dynamic SaaS environments, is comfortable working through ambiguity, and can independently drive complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and delivery of complex cross-functional programs from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Align stakeholders on program scope, objectives, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
- Enable program execution by proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum.
- Support operational readiness, change management, stakeholder communications, and adoption activities.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to solve complex business and technical challenges.
- Create dashboards, status reports, and executive presentations to communicate program progress and key decisions.
- Promote continuous improvements in delivery processes, governance, and operational efficiency.
Education and Experience
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience delivering complex SaaS products or platforms in high-growth software environments.
- Proven program management experience, including planning, execution, risk management, and dependency management.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent data-informed, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience working across globally distributed teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting transformation, integration, or operational improvement initiatives is an advantage.
- Experience delivering or supporting software solutions in cloud environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is preferred; experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or other major cloud platforms is also considered.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and workflows is desirable.
