Porter Novelli is recruiting for an Account Director to join our dynamic global communications company. We are seeking an exceptional Account Director to join our Strategic Services team and help grow our digital centre of excellence in healthcare communications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working at top global PR agencies in the UK and be ready to take on a new challenge at Porter Novelli.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital healthcare communications strategies and campaigns for key UK and Global pharma client accounts
  • Provide expert counsel on paid social media strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok, tailored to the UK healthcare market
  • Develop and execute influencer and advocacy marketing programs in the UK healthcare space
  • Manage project profitability, oversee client budgets in GBP, and hold responsibility for overall account performance
  • Effectively lead, inspire and mentor UK-based account teams to deliver high-quality work
  • Collaborate with internal teams like the design studio to create impactful content for UK audiences
  • Contribute to new business efforts, deliver presentations, and help grow the digital healthcare practice in the UK

Skills that thrill:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in digital healthcare communications in the UK, with a strong track record at global PR agencies
  • Deep expertise in paid social media strategy and hands-on experience running campaigns on major platforms, with a focus on the UK healthcare market
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful influencer and advocacy programs in the UK healthcare industry
  • Excellent business communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop innovative digital medical communications strategies
  • Skilled at prioritizing and managing time across multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in the UK
  • Passion for staying at the forefront of digital trends and innovations in UK healthcare communications
  • Familiarity with UK healthcare regulations, such as ABPI Code of Practice, and how they impact digital communications
