Porter Novelli is recruiting for a Corporate Reputation and B2B SAD to join our dynamic global communications company.  

Porter Novelli is seeking a strategic and driven Account Manager (AM) to lead corporate reputation and B2B communications for world-class brands within a dynamic global team. The Porter Novelli Corporate team boasts a roster of world-leading brands and B2B clients, offering you the opportunity to hone your organisational, corporate storytelling, and media relations skills. We’re looking for someone with a background in corporate communications, reputation management, crisis and issues experience, and/or B2B tech chops who is looking to join a growing global team and really make their mark on several key accounts. This is a pivotal role in the team driving results for our clients, whilst maintaining strong links with journalist contacts and the day-to-day point of contact for some core clients. Here we Grow!

Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Portfolio Management

  • Support a portfolio of corporate reputation, issues management and B2B clients
  • Develop and deliver strategic communication plans and reputation management programmes that build trust and protect reputation equity.
  • Build trusted and valued relationships with client leads by providing insight and strategic corporate reputation counsel.
  • Ensure high standards of client service and campaign execution, with a focus on measurable outcomes and client feedback.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments relevant to clients.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team committed to driving personal and team development.
  • Manage/coordinate multiple market teams in the delivery of global and regional strategic communications campaigns. 

Business Development & Commercial Growth

  • Support new business efforts, including responding to RFPs, pitching, and onboarding new clients.
  • Drive organic growth within existing accounts and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen in managing budgets and resources.
  • Work with client leads to identify opportunities for growth or collaboration across the wider PN / OPRG network.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Role model Porter Novelli values and behaviours, contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and development of talent.

Integrated Campaign Delivery

  • Collaborate with Porter Novelli Brand and Innovation Engine teams to deliver integrated campaigns that leverage horizontal capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, strategists, creatives, and network partners to ensure best-in-class work and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure quality under pressure.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Prior experience managing large, complex corporate reputation accounts across multiple sectors. Ideally, some experience with B2B tech clients with a strong network of media contacts in this space.
  • We’re looking for someone who embraces innovation—leveraging AI tools for smarter audience insights, trend forecasting, and content creation.
  • Understanding of the issues impacting clients and how to craft compelling stories based on these.
  • Curiosity and a desire to be on the front-foot of industry trends and the news agenda.
  • Experience of crisis and issues and reputation management.
  • A commitment to live our values (see below).
  • You’ll be a driver of coverage, seeking new ways to tell stories.
  • Proactive, excellent at taking initiative, and eager to learn.
  • Some experience working on a global account with exposure to managing local market teams is a plus.
  • You will be able to look at topics and issues from ‘a different angle’ to deliver impactful coverage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management.
  • Experience of managing client relationships with senior guidance.
  • Desire to manage and guide junior team members.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond, particularly during new business.
