The Senior Account Director, Digital, UK is a client-facing digital leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of digital-first campaigns. This individual ensures strategic alignment, quality execution, and performance optimization across platform-based digital workstreams—paid and organic. This role is integral in connecting content and channel with insight and intelligence, while leading the client relationship from a digital perspective.

Core Purpose
To lead the execution and optimization of integrated digital campaigns, driving results for clients across content, performance media, and digital platforms. 

Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision
•    Translate strategic Digital vision into operational campaign plans (including Digital, Influencer and Paid Media).
•    Guide content and performance strategy using platform and audience insights.
•    Ensure Digital work aligns with foresight, research, and strategic frameworks.

Leadership
•    Lead Digital campaign planning and execution across digital channels.
•    Manage junior Digital team members and collaborate cross-functionally.
•    Represent Digital thinking in internal and client-facing conversations.

Client Impact & Business Development
•    Act as the primary digital lead for day-to-day client management.
•    Present campaign strategy, KPIs, and performance recommendations.
•    Contribute digital thought leadership to pitches and proposals.

Commercial & Operations
•    Manage scope, timelines, and delivery for Digital, Influencer and Paid Media programmes.
•    Oversee quality control for Digital assets and reporting.
•    Collaborate with external partners and offshore teams to ensure delivery excellence.
•    Leverage AI in the work (hands-on use of AI) to automate and elevate deliverables.

Team Development & Culture
•    Mentor Digital team members and support Digital upskilling initiatives.
•    Share emerging Digital trends and platform knowledge across the team.
•    Champion inclusive, performance-oriented, and collaborative team behaviors.

Deliverables
•    Digital, Influencer and Paid Media campaign plans, channel calendars, and content workflows.
•    KPI tracking dashboards and digital performance reports (working closely with the Data and Intelligence team).
•    Digital campaign execution and management.
•    Strategic Digital recommendations for ongoing optimization.

Targets & KPIs
•    Campaign delivery on time and on budget.
•    Digital campaign results against KPIs (CTR, CPA, conversions).
•    Data and AI utilization in strategy and planning.
•    Client satisfaction and team collaboration metrics.
•    Billability target: 75–80%.

Skills & Expertise
•    8+ years in digital marketing, campaign management, or platform strategy.
•    Strong understanding of Paid Media, Influencers, content strategy, SEO, and SEM.
•    Strong use of AI to automate and elevate the work.
•    Experience managing Digital campaigns in the Health sector.
•    Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
•    Ability to lead, coach, and inspire junior Digital team members.
