We’re looking for a hyper-strategic and creative multi-media leader to build and drive Postman’s audio, video and live content. The ideal candidate has a diverse portfolio of creative formats, previously held positions in creative strategy and production management roles, and has a deep bench of freelance talent they could recruit at a moments' notice depending on the need. If you’re a master juggler, a digital content connoisseur, love a mix of driving strategy and making the creative yourself, this role is for you.

About The Role

The role will be tasked with building out a scalable vertical for the company’s multimedia needs. It will provide subject matter expertise for internal and external content creators, collaborate with channel owners on strategy, drive measurement and iteration at the content-level, and align priorities with business goals.

The ideal candidate is as comfortable measuring and reporting on outcomes as they are sitting behind the camera, possesses an effective playbook for optimizing content creation for cost, speed and quality, and can identify and close the gaps in our current process. This is a strategist and “jack of all trades” creative (conceptualization, casting, production, editing) who can raise the bar on Postman’s content and create delightful experiences for our developers.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and drive multimedia content pipeline, optimizing for cost, speed, and alignment with business, campaign and channel-level goals

  • Take a data-driven approach to creative while establishing and upholding standards for content excellence, holding a high bar to all creative and final deliverables

  • Collaborate with channel owners on creative strategy and deliver assets on time and on spec

  • Conceptualize and experiment with ownable multimedia formats that delight audiences and drive repeat viewership

  • Serve as a leader and subject matter expert for internal and external content creators

  • Provide production management, planning and technical expertise for live and live-to-tape initiatives like webinars, in-person events, podcast recordings, and more

  • 10+ years in content development, production and delivery, with an emphasis on being both a strategist and creator

  • A portfolio of work that showcases a variety of formats and expertise

  • An enthusiastic attitude and ability to move and learn quickly

  • A track record of building and managing robust content pipelines

This is a remote role based in the United States & the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, plus a competitive equity package, and a flexible schedule working with a fun, collaborative team.
