Head of Growth

Remote

Postscript is the AI messaging platform trusted by 20,000+ Shopify brands — including Brooklinen, Ruggable, True Classic, and Dr. Squatch.

With a mission to make SMS your number one revenue driving channel, we built the best-in-class SMS marketing platform and launched revenue-driving AI features not available on any other platform. And we're just getting started.

Backed by Greylock and Y Combinator, fully remote since 2018.

Marketing is being rewritten. The playbooks that built B2B pipeline for the last decade are losing their edge, and the teams that win next will look more like product and engineering teams than traditional marketing departments. We're looking for the person who is already living in that future.

As Head of Growth Marketing, you'll own every way merchants discover, evaluate and come back to Postscript: paid channels and budget, postscript.io, every traffic source, our email and SMS distribution, community, creative and experiential. You'll run growth as an experimentation engine: fast, quantitatively rigorous and AI-native from the ground up.

You won't just run campaigns. You'll build and ship things: free tools, interactive experiences and AI-powered products ecommerce brands actually want to use, tested against real traffic and measured against pipeline. Part mad scientist, part operator, part builder.

This is a fully remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.

What you'll own

  • The growth number. Own the pipeline target with sales and marketing leadership, and build the machine that hits it.
  • All paid. Strategy, budget, channel mix and creative testing across Meta, Google, LinkedIn and whatever comes next.
  • Postscript.io as a product. Conversion, testing and new experiences.
  • Distribution. Email, SMS, community, partners and experiential.
  • Software as marketing. Conceive, build and ship AI-powered experiences (think "Get an AI audit of your SMS program"), test them against traffic and scale what works.
  • Experiment velocity. A testing cadence measured in experiments per week, not per quarter, with clean measurement behind it.
  • The team. Lead and grow a team across growth, lifecycle, creative and experiential, and redesign how it works with AI.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years leading teams in marketing, growth or engineering, or as a founder
  • Deep performance marketing and paid media experience at scale
  • Quantitative fluency: you do your own analysis and know attribution and incrementality cold
  • AI-native: you use AI tools daily and have built and shipped things with them
  • A track record of high-velocity experimentation that moved pipeline or revenue
  • A builder's bias for action: you'd rather ship a prototype Friday than debate a strategy doc for a month
  • Creative instincts: you know great growth starts with ideas, not just optimization

Bonus points

  • An engineering, technical or founder background
  • Ecommerce, DTC or martech experience, brand side or vendor side
  • GTM engineering experience (Clay, n8n, Zapier or your own tooling)
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce

What you'll love about us

  • Salary range of USD $207,000–287,000 base plus significant equity (we do not have geo-based salaries)
  • A high-growth company with plenty of room to directly shape the business and your career
  • Work from home (or wherever)
  • A team that is passionate and enjoys what we do
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Health, dental and vision insurance

At Postscript, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity. We firmly believe that companies diverse in, for example, age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and perspective are better because of it. However, even beyond that belief, we simply want to strive for what's right.

For this reason, we are asking candidates to voluntarily self-identify through a few demographic questions. Our purpose in collecting this information is to help us assess our outreach efforts and diversity representation goals. Your responses will not be linked to your identity or your application, and neither recruiters nor hiring managers can see this information at an individual level. Your responses are stored in the aggregate and will not play any role in our hiring decision.  Your decision to participate or not participate in this survey will have no impact on your candidacy at Postscript.
