A day in the life:

  • As the Programmatic Ad Ops Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the execution and performance of programmatic within your book of business, working hand-in-hand with the lead Strategist on their accounts. You are an attentive learner, eager to problem solve and hungry to grow your technical, strategic, and analytical skills. You have great communication skills and collaborate well with your lead Strategists. You are known for your reliability, and attention to detail resulting in high-quality work delivered on time. You are actively involved in supporting trafficking, reporting, optimizations, and execution of programmatic deliverables. You are a self-starter when it comes to your responsibilities, and manage your workflow efficiently and effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding and ability to execute ad operations including ad serving, programmatic buying, dynamic creative, & measurement/attribution
  • Comfortable creating campaigns within ad servers and DSPs based on approved plan and specs
  • Provide support to the team in handling department operations, such as pixel creation, Q/A, optimization implementation, A/B test set ups, pacing and reporting setup, billing/invoice tracking + pacing, and deliverable tracking
  • Work closely with traders and strategists to execute programmatic strategies effectively
  • Assist and collaborate with team to ensure and resolve delivery and implementation of tags, and troubleshooting of any issues
  • Assist in the creation and onboarding of new programmatic accounts and campaigns within ad servers and DSPsData Integration
  • Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to integrate reporting APIs and ingest daily campaign data
  • Actively monitor campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through reporting tools
  • Regularly deliver campaign insights and analysis to the lead strategist on a weekly basis
  • Supporting strategists with aggregating reporting and data
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department

Role Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an ad operations role at an ad tech company, agency or equivalent
  • Strong understanding and hands-on-key experience using ad tech tools and platforms, including ad servers (CM360), DSPs (Trade Desk, Adelphic, DV360), ad verification tools, and ad trafficking systems
  • Understanding of campaigns across various programmatic channels, including mobile, display, video, OTT, CTV, DOOH and audio
  • General knowledge in data analysis and the ability to set up reports, interpret campaign performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and recommend data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and workflow tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors
  • Strong attention to detail in setting up, monitoring, and managing programmatic campaigns
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Below 10% Client Churn Rate.
  • Range of the number of accounts (6-8).
  • Achieve client spend thresholds and meet or exceed industry performance benchmarks by at least 95%.
  • 100% completion on client deliverables.

Most Important Things (MITs)

  • Ad operations, production, and completion of tasks on time based on deadlines set by team/client.
  • Understanding the client’s business model and desired outcomes in order to align with the strategy of the account.
  • Paid Advertising account performance and health of the account.
  • Client retention, sentiment and growth.
