Position Title: People and Culture Intern
Internship Term: Spring 2025
Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]
Desired Fields of Study: Project Management, Operations Management, Business, Human Resources, People and Culture.
Hours Desired: 15-20/week
A day in the life:
- Power Digital's People and Culture interns have a unique opportunity to engage in behind-the-scenes work and learn how the company maintains a strong culture. While focusing primarily on organizational initiatives, interns also gain exposure to all aspects of digital marketing, understanding how departments work individually and together to execute the overall strategy. Working directly under the People Team, interns assist in onboarding, people operations, event planning, and more. Encouraged to share ideas and collaborate, interns actively participate in team brainstorms and strategy sessions
Responsibilities:
- Help organize important documents and processes
- Learn the processes for onboarding new team members and assist
- Assist in planning and organizing culture events
- Assist in team recognition initiatives
- Assist in operational tasks for the people organization
- Assist with NYC office management as needed
Role Requirements:
- Working toward or recently received a Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong follow through in time management, attention to detail, and reliability
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Strong desire to learn and contribute to an evolving department in San Diego’s second fastest growing company
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work in a deadline sensitive environment
