A day in the life:
The Paid Media Associate Director demonstrates exceptional management skills and a strong leadership presence. They oversee a team of 4+ direct reports and are well-respected, trusted, and adept at rallying them toward shared and individual goals. They take an active role in coaching their team, including mentoring, role-playing, feedback, and skill development. They handle complex client accounts with high-quality execution, strategic thinking, and timely communication. The Paid Media Associate Director positions themself as an industry leader by proactively driving client growth, innovating new channel strategies, and continuously improving the skills of the team they oversee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceptional management and consistent application of management responsibilities and philosophies for their team
- Assuming a very active role in coaching direct reports and other members of the department via shadowing, role-playing, modeling, giving feedback, storytelling, coaching, and explaining the why
- Exemplifying the gold standard of a lead and able to take on the most complex client accounts, executing all responsibilities with high quality, on time, and with exceptional communication and strategic thinking
- Proactively looking down the field to retain & grow client revenue within the individual portfolio, and to improve the team internally
- Always searching for new opportunities to uplevel the team (operations, camaraderie, strategy/skill set, product, etc.)
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Role Requirements:
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience. 3+ years in agency setting
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
- Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy development on large, enterprise-level accounts
- Significant campaign management experience in 3 or more of the following additional campaign types:
- Performance Max
- Standard Shopping
- YouTube Ads
- Display Advertising
- Local campaigns
- Bing Ads
- 2+ years of management experience
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the marketing funnel
- Strong ability to formulate meaningful insights from marketing data, going beyond the stat and telling the story
- Other skills required:

- 95% team retention
- Hitting 95% to goal of P&L for department including service expansion goal defined by dept
- Maintaining bandwidth between 7-9 and sentiment between 4-5 for direct reports
- 100% completion of PDM processes each week
