A day in the life:

As a Content Marketing Strategist, you’ll take raw ideas, concepts, insights, quotes, themes, and turn them into multi-format stories that resonate with healthcare marketing leaders. You’ll work across video, social, email, and web, collaborating closely with brand, design, and video teams to shape, script, storyboard, and elevate content. Your day includes transforming long-form material into scroll-stopping clips and posts, guiding creative production, managing social calendars, and ensuring every asset aligns with our ICP’s motivations and buying psychology. You’ll stay plugged into industry trends, keep creative and fresh, and help define the voice and style of a fast-growing brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-channel content strategies from core ideas, themes, and insights.
  • Write outlines, briefs, and storyboards for video, social, and thought leadership.
  • Repurpose long-form content (video, podcasts, blogs) into short-form assets.
  • Ensure content aligns with ICP motivations and decision psychology.
  • Partner with the brand team to support major campaigns and launches.
    Social Media
  • Build social content calendars aligned with brand and growth goals.
  • Write copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Concept supporting graphics and video ideas with the creative team.
  • Monitor performance, apply insights, and support monthly reporting.
    Creative Direction: Video & Graphic Content
  • Develop creative briefs for designers, videographers, and editors.
  • Collaborate with design on high-quality assets across channels (social, paid, web, print).
  • Work with videographers on shoot planning and pre-production direction.
  • Identify key timestamps and guide editors in producing compelling clips and reels.
  • Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific creative.
  • Maintain strict brand consistency across all outputs.
  • Stay current on video, design, and social best practices.
    Content for Web & Email
  • Write or refine copy for emails, landing pages, nurture flows, and web pages.
  • Apply UX, SEO, and conversion best practices.
  • Understand how content influences engagement, conversion, and user behavior.
    Success Indicators
  • High-quality, story-driven content that strengthens Cardinal's thought leadership.
  • Consistent cadence of video + social content that drives engagement.
  • Cohesive creative across email, web, and social campaigns.
  • Clear improvements in content clarity, quality, and ICP alignment.
  • Scalable systems for repurposing content across major initiatives.

Role Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years in B2B content, creative strategy, or social storytelling (services/consulting/agency preferred).
  • Exceptional writing skills—clear, concise, persuasive, psychology-informed.
  • Ability to think like an executive audience and translate complex ideas into approachable content.
  • Experience producing thought leadership and industry-expert content.
  • Skill in converting raw ideas into scripts, visuals, and multi-format assets.
  • Familiarity with digital UX, web writing, and basic SEO principles.
  • Experience collaborating with and directing designers, videographers, and editors.
  • Working knowledge of design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in healthcare or service-based industries.
  • Experience shaping executive social presence (especially LinkedIn).
  • Podcast or interview-based content experience.
  • Experience working with distributed or LATAM-based teams.
