How we work:
Practice Better operates remote-first, hybrid optional. We ensure each member of our team is equipped with the necessary tools to perform effectively within the comfort of their own space. However, flexibility is important! So, if you need to stretch your legs or whiteboard with your team, you can use our beautiful, private downtown Toronto office.

Job Title: VP, Product

Location: The candidate must be located in the USA or Canada. Our HQ office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.

Position Overview:

As the VP, Product for Practice Better, you will play a foundational role in building upon our vision & roadmap to deliver a world-class, all-in-one practice management and EHR solution that helps practitioners save time, grow their business, and improve their client outcomes. This role will have you leading the Product, Design, and Research teams. It will require you to deeply understand user needs and dive into our product analytics. As a hands-on leader of our organization, you will partner with Engineering, GTM, and other teams to deliver on your mission.

We’re seeking an exceptional Product Leader with expertise and experience in building products for high-growth PLG Vertical SaaS businesses to realize this aspiration. As a key executive leadership team member, you will partner with Engineering, GTM, and other teams to deliver on your mission while representing Product within the organization, in board meetings, and externally. You will be required to push the boundaries of what a modern EHR product can do to support our thousands of practitioners and their clients to further redefine what’s possible within health and wellness.

We’re counting on you to:

  • Define, build, and evangelize the company product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Practice Better product suite to transform how our customers use Practice Better to grow their businesses and help their patients daily
  • Lead a diverse team of UX Researchers, Designers, and Product Managers to build and execute a product roadmap that aligns with our core business metrics and company strategy
  • Define and drive the key product adoption metrics, retention, and revenue metrics for the Practice Better product suite
  • Leverage quantitative & qualitative data to develop user, market, and metric-related insights and inform crucial product decisions
  • Foster a culture of shared ownership, rapid learning, data-centricity, and mutual support amongst your cross-functional team
  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, Sales, CS and Support to build effective GTM & engagement strategies that amplify the success of our launches
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry thought leaders
  • Represent the Product organization in executive leadership meetings, board meetings, and external industry events
  • Partner with finance to tie roadmap initiatives to revenue growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion
  • Identify and evaluate new revenue streams and business models to drive sustainable growth
  • Partner with Finance to establish ROI frameworks for product investments and track their performance against financial targets

Who you are:

  • You have 10+ years of Product Management experience building and shipping products including  5+ years leading a diverse group across Product, Design, and User Research 
  • You have a track record of building, shipping, and iterating on high-quality products that delight customers
  • You have experience using qualitative and quantitative data to build exceptional products and drive a meaningful impact to core metrics & customer outcomes
  • You’re passionate about building experiences that maximize users' delight and impact. You are creative and intrinsically motivated, and you always find a way
  • You’re an empathetic leader with a strong ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • You understand how to unlock your team’s potential while creating a strong cohesive team
  • You are a learn it all vs a know it all, always curious to learn more about our health and wellness practitioners, our market, users and business metrics
  • You lean in to lead with humility, curiosity and inquiry
  • You are humble, measured, and analytical 
  • You are an excellent verbal and written communicator, confident in speaking about business-level and technical concepts
