Pacific Medical Group, of Praxis Health, is seeking candidates interested in serving as our next Patient Service Representative in Beaverton, OR with outstanding customer service skills for a full-time position.

Standard Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

In this role, you will greet, screen, schedule clients, input correct client information, and perform clerical duties related to clinical service and other medical receptionist duties as necessary.

Must have an aptitude to learn and love to work in the field of healthcare
Must be someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
Must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and detail oriented
Experience with electronic medical records is a plus

Essential Job Functions:

Greets, screens and schedules patients.
Inputs information into electronic health records and other support services platforms.
Performs clerical duties related to clinical service.
Prepares and processes correspondence. Answers routine medical administrative inquiries.
Performs high volumes of reception duties including but not limited to answering and screening telephone communication, relaying messages, questions and other relevant
information between patients and their clinical team.
Obtains, verifies, and updates patient information and provides support services to patients and medical staff.
Assistance in Medical Record maintenance including retrieving and sending to offices and individuals as requested and required by state and federal laws.
Ensures scheduling accuracy for ease and best use of provider and patient time.
Vital contributor to internal communication via multiple software programs.
Maintains files and assists establishing office systems.
Assists in the care and maintenance of office equipment.
Performs medical receptionist duties as necessary.
Reliable attendance and presence at work.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum two years of experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.

General Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity for office machine operation including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands for deliveries, or sitting for extended periods of time.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
Work is performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and patients.

It is our company policy to provide, free of charge, the Hepatitis Vaccine Series for all employees of the company who may be exposed to blood or body fluids.
1. Employees will be counseled upon hire regarding the vaccination series.
2. Upon the signing of the proper form, the employee will begin their series at the next scheduled vaccination day after hiring.
3. The series will be administered by a nurse at a designated clinic or hospital.
4. Documentation will be kept in the employee's permanent Personnel File.
5. When necessary, the Medical Director will determine follow up protocol.
Eligibility for Hepatitis Vaccine will be decided by the employee's supervisor based on their possible exposure to blood or body fluids during job performance, such as (but not limited to): Phlebotomy, Sample handling, Testing, Courier of Specimens, Direct patient contact/care, Janitorial Services.
