The Role

This role reports to Jordan Terranova, Manager at Praxis. As Regional Gatherings Operations Contractor, you will support the Regional Gatherings team in successfully executing gatherings in Nairobi and Singapore in January 2026. The Regional Gatherings Operations Contractor will have the opportunity to work alongside high-capacity entrepreneurs, as this person will help execute events connected to our Global Expansion Initiative. While operational in nature, this individual will have direct proximity to some of the most innovative and influential Christian founders and ecosystem builders in the world.

Key Outcomes

  • Event assets: Create and manage email invitations, event action plans, transportation plans, and hotel lodging plans to cover all activities and logistics from setup to tear-down.
  • Communication support: Review email copy and maintain accurate data within Airtable for upcoming regional events in Singapore and Nairobi.
  • Vendor relationships:  Manage relationships with event vendors for each event, ensuring smooth coordination with photographers, restaurants, and rental services.
  • Operational support: Provide onsite support for regional events as needed.
  • Print and digital assets: Develop and coordinate supplies, gifts, and equipment in conjunction with design partners.
  • Event execution: Participate in planning, communications, systems support, and execution to ensure the success of all events.

  • Event management experience (demonstrated expertise in planning and executing programs that have a high "experience design" factor)
  • Operational excellence and project management proficiency
  • Keen attention to detail and motivation for continuous process improvement
  • Self-starter with the ability to self-organize, learn, and execute

 Contract Details

  • All work will be done as a 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Length of Contract: August 1, 2025 - February 13, 2026
  • Praxis Point of Contact: Jordan Terranova
  • Estimated Time to Complete Deliverables: 40 hours per week; plus remote support for events in Singapore (January 14-16, 2026) and Nairobi (January 28-30, 2026) 
  • Compensation: Invoices for work completed will be submitted to Praxis every month, and payment will be made via ACH Direct Deposit. The monthly rate for this role will be $6,000 USD per month, paid bi-weekly.
