Strategic Marketing Lead
Location: This position may be performed remotely with travel to the Boston area as needed.
The Opportunity
Praxis is looking for an innovative and driven individual to provide strategic input to shape access strategy for the company’s portfolio of discovery and development programs. You will leverage your understanding of commercial strategy to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to inform development efforts and key decision making from early-stage development through to launch.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with program teams to support commercial alignment ahead of commercialization
- Support the business development team on opportunity assessment and evaluation
- Build an aligned commercial strategic plan and execute on tactics
- Work closely with key internal resources to generate insights that inform development and commercialization
- Monitor current and future competitive landscape; share key insights with Praxis team to inform development planning and launch strategy
- Support development of strategic external relationships in the KOL community to inform and strengthen product value proposition and Praxis corporate objective
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
- Bachelors' degree in life sciences or commensurate experience; neurology therapeutic area experience is highly desirable
- 5-7 years of experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical marketing or commercial planning role
- Understanding of drug development process with demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with R&D organization
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration; experience building trust across a diverse group of stakeholders, and building a winning culture
- Self-starter who works successfully in a fast paced, start-up environment
- Ability to identify a path forward in ambiguous situations as well as to gain consensus amongst stakeholders with differing perspectives
- Domestic and international travel as required (in line with local COVID-19 guidelines)

To round out this world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below. Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.
Annualized Base Salary
$180,000 - $220,000 USD
