This is a fully remote position, but qualified job seekers must reside in the United States (East Coast strongly preferred).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and requirements for health technology assessment
  • Has sufficient understanding of relevant methods to be able to oversee systematic literature reviews (e.g., clinical, economic, and/or health-related quality of life) and/or quantitative evidence synthesis studies
  • Can identify considerations relevant to the synthesis of available evidence and communicate these within deliverables (e.g., feasibility assessments and technical reports)

What you can expect day to day:

  • Developing client-ready deliverables including protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and slides
  • Contributing to short-term resourcing discussions
  • Managing the delivery of components of projects by collaborating with other staff members to ensure high quality outputs
  • Helping ensure timely delivery and financial performance of projects or project subcomponents; estimating required hours and identifying challenges early on and communicating any changes as well as viable solutions to project leads if necessary
  • Reviewing update slides/minutes and actions for overall study and viewed by clients as independent researcher for specific study or component(s)
  • Leading client calls and responding to emails, inviting input from senior team members with methodological/subject matter expertise where appropriate
  • Creating development plans and acting as a mentor for direct reports
  • Contributing to development of proposals and presentations under guidance of more senior team members with methodological/subject matter expertise
  • Participating in meetings related to new business, including concept ideation

Requisite experience and qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in health economics and outcomes research
  • Master’s degree in a subject related to health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health, or science (biology/biochemistry etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
