Who you are: The Account Supervisor functions as a team leader and provides support through overseeing and coordination of projects. The Account Supervisor is responsible for assuring and maintaining client satisfaction as the primary client point of contact. The Account Supervisor serves as a liaison between client services leadership, strategy, and internal operations. 

 

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:  

 

Tactical Management 

  • Leads team in development of project strategy and communications plans 
  • Works collaboratively with project management in the ongoing oversight of team and job progress  
  • Directs all tactics of assigned accounts 
  • Effectively troubleshoots issues that arise 

 

Client Management 

  • Develops and maintains strong rapport day-to-day with client contacts 
  • Conducts periodic check-ins with client to obtain feedback on agency performance 
  • Resolves issues regarding fees, job progression, project scope, team personnel, etc. 
  • Begins to demonstrate more senior-level leadership responses to client challenges 

 

Financial Management 

  • Meets established revenue goals 
  • Leads troubleshooting efforts related to project scope creep, AAs, internal process bottlenecks, etc. 
  • Meets profitability targets 

 

Product Knowledge 

  • Has full knowledge of all the assigned products, competition, and the role of changing market dynamics 

 

Strategy 

  • Actively engages clients in discussions about market challenges and opportunities, specifically those that can be addressed by communications 
  • Has or develops deep familiarity with client’s market, including disease state, treating clinicians and influencers and their corresponding professional societies, competitive companies and technologies, and current and future state of treatment 
  • Applies understanding of client’s product and market situation to internal and client discussions 
  • Develops expertise on one or more industry segments; becomes a go-to person for business insights 

 

Business Development 

  • Formulates plans to extend business with existing clients 
  • Leads and closes new business opportunities with existing clients 

 

Leadership & Agency Advocacy 

  • Proactively (and with appropriate subtlety or force as the situation demands) offers the agency’s point of view on client’s strategic and tactical choices 
  • Responsible for ensuring the agency is positioned to do the best possible work for the client 

 

Qualifications: 

 

Minimum Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

 

Other Required: 

  • May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays 

 

Preferred: 

  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Experience  
  • 3 Years’ Agency Experience 

 

Skills:  

  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Internet

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

Reasonable estimate of the current range

$85,000 - $116,000 USD
