Precision Cabinets is seeking a full-time Local Delivery Driver to join our Operations team. This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering custom cabinetry and related materials to residential and commercial job sites throughout the Greater Bay Area. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and committed to ensuring products are delivered accurately, on time, and in excellent condition.

Key Objectives

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport custom cabinetry, countertops, and related materials to customer job sites throughout the greater Bay Area.
• Plan and complete daily delivery routes while meeting scheduled delivery times and maintaining efficient operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Complete required vehicle inspection reports, safety checklists, delivery documentation, and other company records accurately.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload cabinetry and materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Safely carry and move cabinets from the delivery vehicle to designated locations within residential and commercial job sites.
• Work collaboratively with delivery team members to safely handle oversized or heavy cabinetry using proper lifting techniques.
• Verify delivery orders and confirm products are delivered accurately and completely.
• Communicate professionally with customers, builders, contractors, project managers, and internal departments regarding deliveries and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle at all times.
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures related to vehicle operation, material handling, and job site safety.
• Participate in Precision Cabinets' Driver Training Program and complete all required training assignments.
• Assist with warehouse, loading, material handling, and other operational duties when deliveries are complete.
• Support the Installation, Shipping, and Production teams as needed to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Represent Precision Cabinets with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service during every customer interaction.
• This is a Monday – Friday position.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean DMV driving record required; Class B license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience; experience operating a 24-foot box truck preferred.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, logistics, moving, construction, or material handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly and team lift items weighing 100 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
• Strong understanding of safe loading, unloading, vehicle operation, and material handling practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including following safety procedures, reading work orders, completing delivery documentation, and collaborating with team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays.
• Positive attitude, commitment to workplace safety, and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

The company intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay range of $24.00 – $26.00 per hour. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience.
