Candidates can be based out of any geography but will expected to be onsite at a client's manufacturing plant.  In this billable, client-facing role, you will focus on training, mentoring, and coaching your teams in both the evolution and continued operational excellence of Precision for Medicine’s Manufacturing Solutions practice area. Success in this role requires proven technical expertise combined with business acumen, advanced people- and team-building skills, and a consulting mindset to deliver technical and business solutions.

 

Essential functions of the position:

Project Delivery and Team Member Development

  • Manage teams at various client sites/locations to ensure consistency of technical services, compliant with client and Manufacturing Solutions processes and standards and responsiveness to both client and employee requirements.
  • Collaboratively identify and implement employee performance and development plans to meet individual development and organizational growth goals.
  • Direct and manage teams executing projects within the Manufacturing Solutions practice areas with overall responsibility for technical solutions, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives and projects by ensuring Team Members understand team and individual goals and responsibilities, managing priorities and ensuring timely and high-quality completion of work.
  • Support project direction and strategy based on client vision and expected outcomes throughout the entire project delivery life cycle without oversight.
  • Support and identify resource planning, as well as define project objectives and requirements necessary to structure a project or activity.
  • Subject Matter Expert who provides technical direction, training, career development and performance assessments to ensure highest quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain high performing teams ensuring successful account management and growth.

Business Development & Strategy

  • Drive Manufacturing Solution’s business development initiatives across assigned accounts through proactively identifying opportunities to expand services.
  • Review and populate site dashboards providing direction resulting in project health and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead, oversee, and execute client project initiatives allowing for the identification of new and added services for the mutual benefit of the client and organization.
  • Support in the development, implementation, and execution of strategic plans to meet the Manufacturing Solutions business development and growth targets.
  • Support the maintenance of new and existing client accounts, focusing on project delivery and actively seeking account growth.
  • Work with client’s business/technical leadership to facilitate workflow development, project scope development and risk assessment, issue resolution and work forecasting and planning.
  • Provide direction and innovation in service and/or process improvement, cost reduction and recommendations for business process optimization.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in the biomanufacturing industry and implement strategies that leverage changes in the marketplace into new business opportunities.
  • Support strategic creation of cross site / cross account business development tools creating a force multiplier impact.

Examples of our core services within the life science space, include: Capital Project Management (including Project Controls and Scheduling); Facility Management & Builds; Tech Transfers; Validation Life Cycle (including Commissioning and Qualification, Process Validation, Computer System Validation, etc.); GxP Automated Systems; Due Diligence & Business Strategy; Quality, Regulatory, & Compliance.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Life Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline and/or comparable military experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of advanced therapy, life science, pharmaceutical, or biotech experience.
  • 6 years of managing high-performing teams.
  • 4 years business development, lead generation, or sales experience.
  • Automation expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA with an emphasis on the following controls systems:Emerson DeltaV Control Systems, Rockwell Allen Bradley Automation, Siemens Control Systems
  • Experience translating client visions to set the direction, frame the project, provide clarity to direct reports and client, and deliver results.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to the employee's start date with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable.
  • Travel as needed to fulfill Business Development and Team Member initiatives.
  • Experience operating as a trusted strategic advisor to organization decision-makers on short and long-term organizational initiatives.
  • Experience translating client visions to set the direction, frame the project, provide clarity to direct reports and client, and deliver results
  • Proven technical/managerial capabilities in developing solutions to engineering and business problems and managing deliverables and client expectations

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

$50,000 - $240,000 USD
