What you can expect day-to-day:
Our freelance Writers develop medical content for assigned account(s) and work in conjunction with Account, Creative, Content and Editorial teams to ensure that the client vision is achieved and content is medically accurate. Freelance Writers develop varied resources including, but not limited to, value proposition materials, clinical monographs, advisory board content, and internal training resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients on recommended content development approaches.
- Develop, write and translate complex scientific data to a broad audience across wide-ranging therapeutic areas.
- Balance and prioritize multiple parallel work streams to meet established timelines and project goals.
- Participate in internal meetings and brainstorming sessions, as well as client meetings including medical, legal & regulatory reviews.
- Present medical content to clients when requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum required: BA/BS in English, Science related field, or other relevant degree
- Familiar with promotional pharmaceutical writing; experience creating, referencing, and annotating promotional content. Payer knowledge is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of AMA style is required
