
Vice President, Human Resources Operations
Precision for Medicine is hiring a Vice President, Human Resources Operations based remotely in the UK.
Position Summary:
You will play a critical role in ensuring our global HR operations run efficiently, compliantly, and consistently. You will drive the successful implementation of HR policies and programs, oversee HR governance & compliance, and provide strategic leadership to local HR operations partners.
You will be a key member of the HR Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CPO. This means you contribute to shaping the overall HR strategy, provide input on organizational priorities, and partner with other HR leaders to ensure a cohesive approach across talent, culture and operations. Your role also supports HR Transformation initiatives, helping to modernize processes, and improving employee experience.
Your role is pivotal in delivering a seamless employee experience, mitigating risk, and enabling the business to operate effectively across all regions.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Policy Ownership: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of global HR policies, ensuring alignment with local regulations and business objectives.
- HR Compliance: Oversee HR compliance programs, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure adherence to employment laws in all regions.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, supporting leadership in resolving complex HR issues.
- Works Councils / Employee Representative collectives: Build relationships, manage, negotiate & consult with our employee representative groups & works councils.
- Local HR Operations Leadership: Manage and coach local HR operations partners, ensuring consistent application of processes, policies and programs.
- HR Transformation Support: Drive HR transformation initiatives, including process modernization, and operational improvements.
- M&A: Support HR activities in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution to ensure smooth onboarding of acquired employees.
- Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
- HR Direct: Lead our shared services team, continually looking at future improvements, employee trends etc.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in HR operations, payroll and employee relations within a complex, multi-country environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance and best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop HR teams and local HR operations partners.
- Experience supporting HR transformation initiatives, process redesign, or system implementations.
- Experience leading HR in M&A activities including integration and change management.
- Experience establishing and running an HR Direct (Shared Services), providing project governance and delivery oversight.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering practical solutions in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of partnering effectively with business leaders and external vendors.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance compliance, operational excellence, and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business or related discipline.
- Prior leadership experience at an executive level.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree.
- HR certification.
