Come discover how we empower our clients to solve their biggest challenges and make their business dreams come true.

The Predictive Index is a place where people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives collaborate on amazing, important work. We celebrate our differences, knowing that they are fundamental to our success as an organization. “Better Work, Better World,” starts here, in an organization where every member of the PI community is valued, respected, and welcome. We encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll be the strategic owner of how we position our product in the market, drive go-to-market execution, and communicate our value to prospects, customers, partners, and employees. You’ll partner closely with leaders in product, operations, sales, customer success, and the other marketing pillars to ensure alignment from roadmap to revenue. This is a highly cross-functional, high-impact role where you’ll help shape the next phase of our growth.

You’ll join the Marketing Leadership team alongside the Directors of Brand and Demand Generation, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, and play a pivotal role in establishing the Product Marketing function as a core contributor to go-to-market success. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the strategic positioning and value proposition of our products — develop clear, compelling messaging frameworks that can be leveraged by different stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong buyer personas, competitive analysis, and customer insights that inform both product and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions and ensure alignment between product development and customer needs through continuous discovery.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and market, championing insights across the organization.
  • Lead a high-performing, highly-engaged team of passionate product marketers & customer marketing professionals.
  • Synthesize and promote your team’s work — as a Director, you’re responsible for proactively sharing PMM’s strategy and are accountable for its tangible impact in our GTM efforts.
  • Own the GTM of our product and feature launches — working alongside our release management efforts to bring new capabilities to market with clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to develop sales enablement tools (e.g., pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling guides) and train teams on messaging.
  • Work closely with the Demand Generation and Brand teams to align campaigns and content with product value propositions.
  • Serve as a strategic partner in positioning the company in external communications, thought leadership, and analyst relations.
  • Establish core product marketing KPIs (adoption, win/loss, engagement with enablement materials, etc.) and continuously optimize based on performance.
  • Mature and scale your department — establish best practices, processes, and scalable frameworks for the team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in HR Tech or B2B SaaS.
  • Curious, analytical, and customer-obsessed, with a desire to make a tangible business impact.
  • Proven success launching and scaling software products in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of B2B buyer behavior, GTM frameworks, and sales cycles.
  • A strong communicator, storyteller, and advocate — both internally and externally.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to craft compelling stories and simplify complex concepts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a track record of working effectively in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels — you can own the plan and roll up your sleeves to execute it.
  • A test-and-learn mindset with an eye for data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members.
