Role Summary:

As a Demand Generation Manager, you will run integrated campaigns to drive leads and awareness for Prefect Cloud. You are a versatile marketer with experience in building short-form engaging campaigns across both paid and organic channels. You have an attention to detail and execute quickly.

You will manage a variety of channels to communicate with our core personas—the data engineer and technical management—including paid ads, events, social, email, and more. You will both build new campaigns from the ground up and optimize existing ones by creatively improving their performance through content iteration and audience management.

While you will focus on our channel distribution strategy and measurement, you would be excited to work in a startup environment and take on various tasks to grow your experience. You will report into growth marketing and work closely with product marketing and sales.

You will report to our Director of Growth Marketing, Sarah.

What You'll Do:

  • Your number one goal will be to drive qualifying leads and traffic into our ecosystem
  • Execute campaigns across multiple channels focusing on paid search, paid social, email, and field events, while also expressing eagerness to explore unconventional channels for our unique persona
  • Distribute product marketing materials to compelling audiences across the channels you manage, identifying which content will resonate with which audiences
  • Work closely with the sales team - including directly with SDRs and AEs - to support their activities in outbound and ABM through writing sequences, retargeting, and adjusting lead channels
  • Proactively learn existing and new tooling in partnership with the Marketing Automation Manager to bring your ideas to fruition
  • Refuse to let perfect be the enemy of good; instead, you will execute quickly and iteratively as our cloud product and messaging evolve

Your Qualifications:

  • 4+ total years of work experience across several specialties in growth marketing
  • Experience with paid ad platforms - Google, LinkedIn, and even more niche developer platforms like Reddit, StackOverflow, etc.
  • Experience running a social calendar and repurposing content
  • Experience working with working with sales teams, making adjustments based on feedback on inbound activities to find the most qualified leads.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools like CRMs (Salesforce, etc), email marketing platforms (Customer.io, Apollo, etc), and ecosystem signal platforms (Common Room, etc)
  • Experience evaluating campaign success metrics, assisted by a technical analyst
  • A hunger to understand, reach & influence our category of engineers
  • Exposure to the data engineering ecosystem, including some of the following:
    • Data movement (Fivetran, Airbyte, Reverse ETL tools)
    • Transformation (dbt, custom Python)
    • Data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
    • Orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Luigi, etc.)
    • Serverless and/or containerized infrastructure (Google Cloud Run, AWS ECS, Docker + Kubernetes, etc.)

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
