Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Coordinator, you will:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities in industrial automation and controls, targeting clients in manufacturing, robotics, and other industrial sectors.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover trends and identify potential leads.
  • Engage with prospects via LinkedIn and other social platforms, emphasizing technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, building relationships with prospects and explaining technical capabilities and services.
  • Use CRM tools like HubSpot to track technical sales activities, manage data, and maintain an organized pipeline.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple prospects with a sense of urgency and strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical sales teams to align client needs with our solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns, share feedback, and improve lead engagement.
  • Provide feedback to the technical team to refine offerings and improve customer engagement.
  • Maintain credibility with clients, ensuring confident and professional communication throughout the process.

 

Experience and Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related fields preferred.
  • Understanding of automation, control systems, or industrial equipment is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales roles, preferably with exposure to technical or industrial automation, focusing on lead generation and prospecting.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot for data tracking and pipeline management.
  • Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and engagement in technical markets.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple prospects and deadlines.
  • Confidence in explaining services and answering client questions, even when new to a role.
  • Experience creating and managing technical content for outreach and proposals is a plus.
