Key Duties and Responsibilities

As an Account Sales Representative, you will

  • Grow sales of Premier Automation’s core products and services by identifying and developing new customer accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
  • Act as the ambassador of Premier Automation, serving as the main point of contact for clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Engage in business development activities, collaborating with marketing, manufacturing, and engineering teams to introduce new product offerings and services.
  • Conduct cold calls to potential customers, with a focus on both relationship building and learning about customer needs.
  • Follow up on quoted opportunities to gather feedback, secure deals, and discover additional opportunities.
  • Manage the RFQ process, ensuring timely responses to customer requests and quotes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and review sales goals and strategies on a quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Participate in face-to-face sales calls with customers, as well as weekly planning and sales activity reporting.
  • Undertake project management tasks, including collecting information for proposals and providing feedback on customer inquiries.
  • Maintain and update sales pipelines, track weekly sales activities, and participate in Monday morning conference calls.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the electrical, automation, or industrial sectors, with a proven ability to sell complex, engineered solutions and services beyond basic product distribution.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor and deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and managing complex sales processes, including RFQs.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts; a technical degree or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
