Key Responsibilities

As an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator, you will:

  • Prepare large electrical equipment (drives and control panels) for shipment, including wrapping, banding, and crating
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for loading and unloading shipments
  • Schedule and coordinate trucks and freight pickups to meet shipping deadlines
  • Perform inventory control, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution
  • Pick and kit materials for production teams based on pick lists
  • Track inventory using Epicor ERP software and maintain accurate stock levels
  • File and maintain accurate inventory and logistics documentation
  • Monitor material movement and maintain clean, organized storage areas
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in inventory and logistics operations
  • Collaborate with production, receiving, and purchasing departments to support workflow
  • Proactively identify and solve issues to prevent shipping or production delays

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations
  • Strong ERP experience (Epicor preferred) with a solid understanding of inventory transactions
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Forklift and crane operation experience; certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and counting
  • Basic computer skills and math skills related to inventory control
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and navigate tight spaces
  • Ability to crouch, crawl, and work on the ground as needed
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Use of hands for handling tools and small components
