Product Manager

Cumbrian Water looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to join their team.

Product Managers at Cumbrian Water own the development and execution of the company’s product strategy and roadmap. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, customer service, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams, to deliver innovative products that meet the needs of our customers and support our environmental and service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to overcome blockers and make decisions about new functionality
• Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and new opportunities
• Prioritize product requirements and work with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget
• Analyse product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve features and user experience
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters with internal and external stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification such as PRINCE2 or AgilePM)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated understanding of customer needs and market trends
• Experience with product development and launch processes
• A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
• Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Product Management, Water Industry Operations, or Sustainability

Additional Information

• Full-time, permanent position
• Location: Hybrid (based in Cumbria with flexible remote working options)
• Evidence of right to work in the UK required
• Salary range: £45,000–£60,000 depending on experience
