Position Summary: The Parts Specialist at Premiere Kubota is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional parts sales and customer service to both retail customers and our internal service department. This role involves accurately identifying parts, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth and efficient parts counter operation to support the needs of our heavy equipment customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales:

Assist customers (both walk-in and call-in) and service technicians in identifying and locating correct parts for Kubota equipment.

Provide accurate price quotes, check parts availability, and process sales orders efficiently.

Recommend related parts and accessories, and upsell opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.

Address customer inquiries, resolve parts-related issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Process core returns and warranty parts accurately.

Inventory Management Support:

Receive, unpack, and stock incoming parts and accessories accurately into designated bins and locations.

Assist with regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, ensuring accurate inventory records.

Organize and maintain a clean, orderly, and visually appealing parts showroom and storage area.

Process parts returns from customers and prepare parts for return to vendors.

Operational Support:

Utilize the dealer business system to look up parts, process orders, and manage transactions.

Accurately process all paperwork related to billing, invoicing, and other departmental documents.

Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision.

Collaborate effectively with the Service, Sales, and Administration departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge:

Continuously learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Kubota parts, products, and applications.

Stay informed about new products, product changes, and special promotions.

Safety & Compliance:
-
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies within the parts department.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding parts handling and storage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in parts sales or inventory management, preferably within an agricultural, heavy equipment, automotive, or similar dealership environment.

Familiarity with parts ordering procedures, receiving, and basic inventory control.

Proficiency with computer systems, including experience with dealer management software or similar inventory systems (experience with specific dealership software is a strong plus).

Strong basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is a plus).

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first attitude.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ability to lift at least 75 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks associated with parts handling.

General forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained).

Willingness to work outside scheduled business hours occasionally if necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Specific knowledge of Kubota equipment and parts.

Experience with merchandising and display of parts.
