Company Overview
PrescriberPoint, a Series A startup incubated by BCG Digital Ventures and funded by Lilly, Pfizer, MasterCard, and Adobe, is modernizing how U.S. healthcare professionals (HCPs) get patients on therapy. Our platform streamlines prescribing by bringing together trusted drug information, coverage and prior authorization requirements, patient affordability options, and practice tools—while enabling compliant collaboration with pharmaceutical brand teams. We operate a large-scale catalog of medication microsites and are integrating AI to improve content quality, velocity, and relevance.
Role Overview
You will own the strategy and outcomes for our two‑sided publisher marketplace (35k+ medication microsites). Your north star: convert high‑intent, non‑authenticated HCP visitors into loyal, repeat users of our free product—building durable brand trust among HCPs—while delivering measurable commercial value to pharmaceutical partners (e.g., engagement with brand assets and tools that correlate to script lift and adoption).
You’ll work from a Jobs‑To‑Be‑Done mindset to deeply understand provider workflows (benefit checks, prior auth, patient affordability, sampling, etc.), and translate those jobs into a compelling, habit‑forming product experience through new practice tools and marketplace improvements. You’ll balance HCP needs with the realities of the commercial pharma ecosystem, partnering closely across design, research, engineering, data, marketing, and client-facing teams.
What You’ll Achieve (Outcomes)
- Activation & retention: Materially improve visitor‑to‑activation, day‑7/30 retention, and repeat usage among HCPs; define and ship growth loops that convert anonymous traffic into loyal users of our free workflows.
- Trusted experiences: Raise provider trust and satisfaction scores; reduce friction across key JTBD (e.g., coverage lookups, PA steps, affordability options, sampling) with measurable performance targets.
- Partner impact: Increase qualified engagement with brand assets/tools (within compliant guardrails) that supports script lift and brand adoption; deliver clear reporting and learnings to brand teams.
- AI‑accelerated content: Pilot and scale AI‑assisted content generation and QA for our microsites to improve freshness, consistency, and discoverability—safely and compliantly.
- Experimentation engine: Establish a durable experimentation and lifecycle framework (A/B tests, onboarding, nudge systems, email/in‑product messaging) that compounds learning and impact.
Responsibilities
- Shape strategy from ideation to launch: collaborate with the management team and coordinate with customer care, marketing, and other product teams to deliver on features that drive HCP adoption and trust.
Define and drive product vision: Set a crisp strategy for the marketplace that compounds value for HCPs and pharma partners; articulate a roadmap that ladders to measurable outcomes. - JTBD research & strategy: Lead research to map provider jobs, pains, and trust signals across specialties and settings; translate insights into hypotheses, prototypes, and shipped improvements.
- Acquisition → habit: Own the full funnel for non‑auth visitors (SEO/SEM/paid/partner traffic in collaboration with specialists), activation, habit formation, and re‑engagement.
- AI content strategy: Partner with content, data science, and engineering to design AI‑assisted authoring, enrichment, and review workflows that scale quality and speed.
- Design partnership: Collaborate on information architecture and UX patterns that make complex access and coverage information scannable, accurate, and actionable.
- Commercial alignment: Work with marketing, sales, and client success to package capabilities, craft value narratives, and ensure programs and metrics align with brand objectives—within MLR and regulatory constraints.
- Data & experimentation: Define success metrics, instrument analytics, run A/B/n tests, and socialize learnings. Turn insights into simple, high‑leverage product changes.
- Execution leadership: Prioritize ruthlessly, write clear PRDs, and guide engineering toward iterative delivery with quality and compliance.
Competencies
- Growth & marketplace leadership: Track record of moving activation, retention, and engagement for content‑heavy products or marketplaces.
- Healthcare domain depth (required): Familiarity with U.S. commercial pharma (brand marketing, field orchestration, MLR process), payer dynamics (formulary/UM), affordability programs, and compliant HCP engagement.
- Customer‑centric & JTBD: Demonstrated ability to convert provider jobs and trust signals into intuitive product experiences and growth loops.
- AI‑forward mindset: Experience leveraging AI for content creation, enrichment, or personalization at scale is a strong plus.
- Analytical & experimental: Comfortable with funnels, cohort analysis, and test design; able to turn data into clear decisions.
- Cross‑functional influence: Excellent partner to design, research, engineering, marketing, and client teams; compelling storyteller and crisp writer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, CS, or similar) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in product management with significant time owning growth or engagement for large content‑driven sites, marketplaces, or marketing platforms.
- Proven success leveraging a funnel-focused model to convert downfunnel (activation → retention → advocacy), ideally with B2B2C or professional user bases.
- Experience launching and scaling features in a two‑sided marketplace with clear monetization and partner impact.
- Healthcare domain knowledge is requisite, particularly around commercial pharma, payer access/UM, affordability programs, and compliant HCP engagement.
- Working knowledge of SEO/SEM and content discoverability best practices; you’ll partner with specialists rather than own channels outright.
- Hands‑on with product analytics, event instrumentation, and A/B testing tools; comfortable with large datasets and pragmatic SQL.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment (e.g., FDA promotional/OPDP considerations, anti‑kickback, MLR review) and privacy expectations in healthcare settings.
- Experience with AI content generation strategies and tooling is a major plus.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and execution in a startup environment.
