About the Position

At Prevail, we’re transforming legal processes with cutting-edge AI solutions, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a pivotal role on our team. This position is uniquely suited for a strategic, hands-on designer who is ready to focus on high-impact work while developing new, specialized skills to elevate our product and user experience to the next level. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll lead critical projects and influence the direction of our product, deepening your expertise and making a significant impact on its evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Design Strategy & Vision Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and drive the design vision, ensuring a cohesive and user-centric experience.
  • Hands-on Design Leadership Lead end-to-end design projects that shape core aspects of the product—from research and conceptualization to wireframing, prototyping, and final design.
  • User Experience Innovation Continuously refine and innovate our product’s user experience with a focus on usability, accessibility, and user delight.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with development teams to ensure design feasibility, work with product managers to prioritize improvements, and validate solutions through user testing and feedback.
  • Mentorship & Influence Share your expertise to mentor team members, champion design best practices, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing design culture.
  • Product Guidelines Leverage expertise in Figma to create and maintain organized design systems, brand guidelines, and toolkits, collaborate on shared projects, and iterate efficiently based on feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product design and user experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful product designs.
  • Experience with a user-centric design approach, driven by a genuine curiosity about the product and user behavior, including collecting user insights, conducting usability testing, and mapping user journeys to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including expertise in design systems and iterative workflows.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per year. The salary is based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge.
