Senior Senior Product Engineer - Frontend

About the role:

We're looking for a Product Engineer that will lead the development of pricefox's design system.

 

Requirements:

• Six plus years of frontend experience (or equivalent level of expertise), at least three working on web products
• Deep expertise in semantic HTML and advanced CSS (accessibility, responsive design, layout systems, animations, CSS architecture)
• Familiarity with building and maintaining components or libraries (svelte, lit, HTMX)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug frontend issues (such as latency)
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers and product managers

In-Office Expectations:

The role is hybrid.

You are expected to spend at least 40-50% of the time in a given month in the office and we're usually flexible on that.

 

Interview Process:

You should expect three rounds in our interview process: the first will be a live coding exercise focused on data structures and algorithms, so we recommend reviewing key concepts in advance (~1hr). After that, you’ll take an online, at your own pace and setting, short talent and personality test (~30min). The second round consists of a system design round, where we will talk about system design, API design, performance, trade offs (~2hr). Finally, you’ll have a conversation with our CEO regarding vision and fit (~30min).
