Pricefox.gr is the leading services' marketplace in Greece.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer who will:

• Build and optimize core frontend features with high performance and clean UX.
• Implement UI using Vue and strong HTML/CSS, reducing framework complexity where possible.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver new verticals and improvements.
• Improve key performance metrics, including time to first interaction.
• Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing codebases.
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions for frontend solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.

We would be happy to have you on our team if you:

• Have 6+ years of experience (or equivalent level of expertise) on the frontend.
• Have experience with a modern frontend framework (Vue, Svelte, htmx, React—we know, we know).
• Strive to achieve the perfect UX.
• Aren’t afraid of dealing with somebody else's code.
• Understand the algorithms behind the code you write.

We would be especially thrilled if you have experience on working on product focused teams.
Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals are a big plus, especially as we simplify our stack.

 

About the team:

The Product team focuses on developing essential UX parts of the Pricefox platform. We grow fast, and we have many exciting tasks for the future.

Currently, about 80% of our UI is built with Vue. As the platform grows, we want to simplify things—leaning more on clean, only HTML/CSS solutions where possible. For many of our use cases, large frameworks add more complexity than value.

Our near-term goals:

• Experiment fast with new verticals.
• Improve digital effectiveness (e.g. time to first interaction).
• Contribute to our customer 360 initiative features.

In-Office Expectations:

The role is hybrid.

You are expected to spend at least 40-50% of the time in a given month in the office and we're usually flexible on that.

Interview Process:

You should expect three rounds in our interview process: the first will be a live coding exercise focused on data structures and algorithms, so we recommend reviewing key concepts in advance (~1hr). After that, you’ll take an online, at your own pace and setting, short talent and personality test (~30min). The second round consists of a system design round, where we will talk about system design, API design, performance, trade offs (~2hr). Finally, you’ll have a conversation with our CEO regarding vision and fit (~30min).
