Spring 2025 Co-op: Clinical & Translational Biomarker

Co-Op Assignment Overview
The Clinical & Translational Biomarker Co-op will play a key role in advancing biomarker strategies for early development and clinical stage programs at Prime Medicine. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of biomarker research, from discovery to clinical application. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced scientists and make meaningful contributions to the development of life-changing therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and execution of biomarker studies, including sample collection, data analysis, and interpretation
- Support the development and validation of biomarker assays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Pharmacology, Bioanalytical/DMPK, and Data Science
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific presentations and reports
- Review disease literature pertaining to biomolecular mechanisms, pathology, and clinical presentation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in biomarker research
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology
- Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in translational science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, GraphPad Prism, or R) is a plus
