We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Sales Executive with a proven track record in the Power Generation and Energy sector. This role requires a seasoned professional who can craft and execute a strategic sales plan, lead customer acquisition and drive business growth. The role will involve engaging with Industry partners and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
As a key contributor to revenue growth and market expansion, you will leverage your expertise in lead generation, solution selling, and contract negotiation to identify and secure high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales and Market Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate goals to expand market share in Power Generation and Energy sectors.
- Identify emerging trends, untapped opportunities, and potential clients to drive lead generation and business acquisition.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify differentiators and potential growth areas.
Business Development and Lead Generation
- Aggressively identify, engage, and close high-value sales opportunities to accelerate revenue growth.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Deliver persuasive and tailored sales presentations that effectively position the company's products and solutions.
Technical Sales and Customer Management
- Leverage industry expertise to understand customer needs and propose technical power and energy solutions (turbines, microgrids, energy storage, etc.).
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to develop tailored technical solutions that blend with functional requirements to solve customer challenges.
- Deliver technical demos and proposals to decision makers.
- Structure complex sales deals, including pricing strategies, financing options, and value based selling approaches.
Sales Execution & Negotiation
- Lead negotiations and contract management, ensuring profitable and strategically sound agreements.
- Drive pricing and other value based selling strategies to convert leads to revenue generation.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline in CRM systems, tracking progress and performance metrics.
Customer Satisfaction and Retention
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive engagement and post-sales support.
- Implement strategies to foster long-term client relationships and promote repeat business.
Continuous Learning & Compliance
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in Power Generation and Oil & Gas.
- Uphold ethical sales practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred ). Business Degree not essential but preferred.
- 5+ years of proven executive-level sales experience in Power Generation and Energy. Strong Commercial acumen, knowledge of Industry. Existing relationships in the industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power generation technologies, energy products, market dynamics, key players
- Expertise in lead generation techniques (networking, cold calling, email marketing, and event participation).
- Exceptional negotiation and executive-level interpersonal skills to build and nurture long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Sales Force preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
