We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior thermal or Mechanical engineer with Boiler & Combustion Systems Expertise to support the technical review of a supercritical coal power plant conversion project—from imported/ local coal blend to 100% low-grade lignite.
Start Date: Immediately.
Location: Remote (with possible site input)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing supercritical boiler design and identify necessary modifications for lignite combustion.
- Review combustion efficiency, slagging, fouling, and thermal performance impacts.
- Support feasibility validation of retrofit options.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in coal-fired boiler design or retrofit
- Strong understanding of lignite combustion behavior
- Experience with OEMs like Babcock & Wilcox, Doosan, GE, or Sargent & Lundy preferred
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
