About the role
As a Senior Sales Executive on our Employee Benefits team, you’ll lead business development efforts with Employee Benefits leaders for the Eastern half of the country. You’ll engage employers, brokers, and consultants in PHM’s unique offerings focused on supporting employees and plan members who have been diagnosed with serious and complex conditions. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build new distribution channels and further cultivate newly formed strategic partnerships to fuel continued growth in our corporate business. You’ll leverage your existing network and proven track record in sales while building trusted advisor relationships with the benefits leaders. You’ll work collaboratively with leadership to develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies, drive pipeline, qualify leads, and win business. You’ll also conduct market development to create greater awareness of our unique, differentiated health capabilities for the employer marketplace.

How You’ll Spend Your Days
- Closing New Business: You wake up thinking about how to identify high quality opportunities, maximize value for clients, and win new business through existing relationships with brokers & consultants and build new relationships with them & employers.
- Strategizing: You’ll collaborate with PHM leadership to define specific go-to-market strategies.
- Thinking Ahead: You’re always developing a pipeline of new sales opportunities and building relationships with target employers.
- Being the Voice of the Customer: You’ll expand on your knowledge of the marketplace and gain product and market feedback from customers, prospects and partners and distribute that to the team.
What you bring to the table
- A 5+ year track record, with demonstrable successes, closing complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Account knowledge, customer contacts and deeply curated industry relationships within the employer market, especially with benefits brokers & consultants.
- A passion for full cycle sales: demand generation, qualification, consultative selling and closing.
- A proven track record of being a self-starter equally comfortable selling independently or as part of a collaborative effort.
- Exceptional executive written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in employee benefits working with employee benefits leaders, benefits consultants and/or brokers to drive sales.
- Prior experience selling point solutions into the employer market is highly desired.

Compensation:
The target base salary for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 with a generous, uncapped, performance-based commission plan.
This is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes PHM’s services for you and your dependents, health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, flexible PTO and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.
This is a remote role that requires significant travel and a preference that you live in one of the following states where we currently have business operations in the Eastern half of the United States: CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NC, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX.
