About the Role

The Content Marketing Manager plays a central role in shaping how PHM shows up as a trusted voice in healthcare. This person will drive the development and distribution of high quality, educational content that helps individuals better understand their health while strengthening PHM’s position as a leader in the space.

This role sits within the Marketing team and partners closely across functions to deliver a consistent, effective content strategy. You will own key channels including newsletters, social media, and thought leadership materials, ensuring a steady and impactful presence across both individual and corporate audiences.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Establish clear editorial guidelines and scalable content processes that improve quality and reduce feedback cycles
  • Build and maintain a consistent cadence of thought leadership content across channels and audiences
  • Own and optimize the newsletter to improve engagement and drive conversion to the contact us page
  • Grow PHM’s social media presence as a meaningful driver of awareness and inbound interest

How You’ll Spend Your Days

Content Strategy and Editorial Leadership

  • Define editorial standards, voice, and timelines to support high quality output
  • Plan and manage a content calendar aligned to business priorities and audience needs

Content Creation and Execution

  • Develop and refine content across newsletters, social media, whitepapers, and other formats
  • Ensure content is clear, accurate, and aligned with PHM’s brand and mission

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, clinical and research stakeholders, and other teams to produce effective content
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining momentum and meeting deadlines

Performance Optimization

  • Track performance of key channels such as newsletter and social media
  • Iterate on subject lines, formats, and messaging to improve engagement and conversion

What You Bring to the Table

Required

  • 5+ years of content experience
  • Experience in a health benefits or healthcare organization
  • writing portfolio demonstrating clear, compelling, and audience appropriate content
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience collaborating across teams, ideally including clinical or subject matter experts
  • Strong organizational skills with a clear approach to managing content workflows
  • Familiarity with AI and desire to utilize AI tools for efficiency

Nice to Have

  • Background working across both consumer and business to business audiences
  • Familiarity with content design principles

Compensation

The target base salary for this position is 80000 - 110000.

This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes: health/dental/vision benefits, annual cash incentive program, 401k with match, flexible PTO, PHM for PHM (our services for you and your dependents) and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.

Location

This is a remote role requiring that you live in and physically perform all work in the United States.
