About the Role

We are looking for a Node.js Backend Engineer with strong Linux troubleshooting skills to lead the future of biometric authentication. This role is focused on building and testing the product for one our main customers. You will work closely with both our engineering team and the client-side team in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Understand the agent behavior via documentation and logs
• Investigate and resolve backend or integration issues
• Monitor logs, troubleshoot errors, and assist in deployments
• Coordinate with the internal team to push hotfixes or backend updates
• Communicate clearly and professionally with client stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js (Express.js preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API debugging tools
• Comfortable with Linux systems (log reading, process monitoring, installing packages)
• Familiarity with gcp kubernetes, workload, logs, storage, build, argo cd.
• Ability to interpret software behavior from agent documentation
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction
• Based in US Eastern Time Zone hours
