Who You Are

You are a hands-on Agile practitioner and/or coach who has been in the trenches both an individual, technical contributor as well as an Agile thought leader and implementer of best practices. You have the ability to both empower individuals/teams and to project and clearly communicate status of initiatives to a broad group of stakeholders. You understand that in order to best serve our customers, we must be a world-class organization employing best practices for our software development and ongoing operations. You enjoy getting things done while also taking pride in the way they are getting done.

What You Will Do

Facilitate and Coach

  • Lead Agile practices and coach teams on Agile/Lean principles to ensure successful delivery
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and empowerment within teams
  • Guide teams to adopt and implement best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Lean into Practical Agility; ensuring practices and processes serve the team and team goals

Lead and Develop

  • Build high-performing teams through servant leadership, respect, trust, and transparency
  • Address team dynamics and resolve conflicts to maintain focus on delivery goals
  • Facilitate workshops and ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews

Manage and Drive

  • Manage complex programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery of business outcomes
  • Define project scope, success criteria, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, providing timely updates and solutions

Administer and Report

  • Optimize the use of work management tools (heavy focus on Atlassian) for tracking and reporting
  • Generate actionable insights through reporting dashboards to support decision-making
  • Train and mentor teams on effective use of tooling for transparency and accountability

Collaborate and Communicate

  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Leaders, and other stakeholders to align priorities and goals
  • Serve as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to manage dependencies and remove impediments

Evolve and Accelerate

  • Lead and support organizational initiatives to scale Agile practices and foster a culture of innovation
  • Act as a change agent to promote Lean-Agile mindset and behaviors across teams
  • Drive continuous delivery improvements by aligning teams with organizational strategies

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Agile practitioner, Scrum Master, Coach or a combination of those roles
  • Extensive experience with a formal/structured form of Agile, such as Scrum or Kanban 
  • Extensive experience with the Atlassian suite of tools, particularly Jira and Confluence 
  • Experience with Engineering Practices, such as CI/CD, Release Management, etc 
  • Experience with product roadmap tools such as Aha! 
  • Experience with traditional project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Monday 
  • Experience and passion for developing and releasing products – from inception to delivery 
  • Experience with working closely with Product Management teams to drive roadmap features and releases across multiple teams

Salary

$95,000-$120,000/year DOE

Location

While our preference is a candidate located in Denver, CO, this role is open to remote candidates in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.
