A Little About the Role
As the Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with Procare's strategic business objectives. This role is part of the IT organization and will focus on developing architectural strategies to improve overall business operations, with the goal of reducing costs, making employees more productive, and increasing revenues.
What You Will Do
- Design and architect Salesforce solutions that support complex business processes
- Develop and maintain the Salesforce architecture strategy for internal systems
- Create technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints for Salesforce implementations
- Lead system integration efforts across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other critical business platforms
- Establish and enforce architectural best practices and design standards
- Provide architectural guidance and conduct technical design reviews
- Work with internal customers such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural integrity
- Perform system performance analysis and optimization
- Clearly and regularly communicate with technical colleagues and management
- Provide leadership in rapid resolution of business-impacting issues
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 5-7 years' of software architecture experience
- 3+ years' of specialized Salesforce architectural experience (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, etc.)
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect (preferred)
- Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including:
- Complex data modeling
- Integration patterns
- Performance optimization
- Security architecture
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Source Control (Git)
- Experience developing Salesforce flows, formulas, and validation rules
- Understanding of the Salesforce data model and data extraction/transformation
- Experience with middleware technologies and ETL tools
- Experience developing and integrating web services using REST, webhooks, etc.
- Familiarity with distributed systems design
- Experience with AWS a plus
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- Ability to analyze and document complex system configurations
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, systems engineering, computer science, or related field

Salary
$135,000-$147,000/year DOE
Location
This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work in office a minimum of 3 days a week.
