A Little About the Role
The Events Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of customer training events and industry and customer conferences across Procare and ChildPlus. This role owns event logistics, coordination, budget and delivery, while partnering closely with Customer Marketing and Multimedia to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
The Events Manager executes against established event strategies, manages vendors and timelines, supports large-scale events such as Training Scramble, and ensures operational excellence before, during, and after each event.
What you’ll do:
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute ChildPlus and Procare training events and customer-facing programs
- Support large-scale events (including Training Scramble) with logistics, coordination, and onsite execution
- Manage event timelines, checklists, and task plans
- Coordinate vendors, AV, shipping, staffing schedules, and onsite needs
- Own internal and external communications associated with the events
- Ensure brand consistency across all events
Cvent & Systems Management
- Build and manage events in Cvent, including registration, sessions, and attendee communications
- Maintain accurate event data, registration flows, and reporting
- Support post-event reporting and attendee insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Customer Marketing to provide event timelines, content details, and key messaging inputs
- Work with Multimedia on print and digital assets, signage, and event branding
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Training, Product, Sales, and Support
Swag, Print & Onsite Logistics
- Order swag, signage, and printed materials for assigned events
- Coordinate delivery, inventory, and onsite setup
- Ensure brand standards are followed across physical event materials
Operational Support & Documentation
- Maintain event calendar, SOPs, playbooks, and checklists
- Track budgets and expenses for assigned events
- Support continuous improvement through post-event retrospectives
Reporting & Follow-Up
- Ensure proper lead and customer information data capturing as possible at each event
- Assist with post-event summaries, attendance tracking, and NPS results
- Capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in event management, training programs, or customer-facing events
- Experience supporting multi-day or multi-location events preferred
- Familiarity with Cvent or similar event platforms
- Detail-oriented execution
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Physical Requirements:
- This position works most of the time in a fixed office location and may involve sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods.
- Frequently required to communicate verbally and in writing (mostly email) with customers, prospects, and other employees.
- Ability to maintain focus, attention, and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment for the greater part of the workday.
- This role follows a Monday–Friday work schedule during standard business hours.
- Occasional travel may be required to events, conferences, and other Procare office.

Salary:
$76,000 - $82,400/year DOE
Location:
This position is preferably based in our Denver, CO, Medford, OR, or Atlanta, GA, offices. We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Employees must be willing and able to work in office a minimum of 3 days per week.
