A Little About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments, and maintaining excellent financial records.
What you’ll do:
- Process and record customer payments accurately
- Manage accounts receivable ledger and reconcile accounts
- Generate and send statements and other transactional documents when requested by our customers
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies per company policies
- Maintain accurate customer financial records
- Prepare aging reports and track outstanding receivables
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial closing processes
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years' of accounts receivable or billing experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices
- Previous experience in software or SaaS industry
- Experience in customer service or similar role requiring professional written and verbal communication
Physical Requirements
- This position works most of the time in a fixed office location and may involve sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods
- Frequently required to communicate verbally and in writing (mostly email) with customers, prospects, and other employees
- Use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment for the greater part of the workday
- Occasional travel may be required to attend client meetings, conferences, or travel to other Procare offices

Salary
$26.75 - $29.50/year DOE
Location
This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a minimum of 3 days a week.
