Accounting Manager
Location: Royersford Headquarters (Hybrid)This role requires periodic travel to company locations and other business destinations as needed.
Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is a key leadership role within our rapidly growing organization, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and driving initiatives that enhance financial performance. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth, exposure to strategic projects, and the ability to shape evolving accounting processes as the company scales. You will lead a talented accounting team, build robust financial infrastructure, and collaborate cross-functionally to support long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, financial reporting, and analysis, delivering accurate statements and actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee accounting operations—including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and General Ledger—streamlining processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and mentor a diverse team, fostering collaboration, growth, and cross-functional impact while setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, partnering on finance transformation initiatives.
- Serve as an ERP subject matter expert, leading upgrades, documenting procedures, and guiding system evolution.
- Support annual budget planning and quarterly forecasting, coordinating company-wide inputs and implementing best-practice processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI and Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
- Understanding of business drivers, strategies, and their impact on financial health.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
