Job Title: Life Sciences Sales and Account Manager

Location: Greater Philadelphia Area, Washington D.C, Harrisburg, PA, Wilmington, DE, Allentown, PA, Bethlehem, PA, Princeton, NJ

Are you a resourceful, driven team player with a competitive spirit and strong sales acumen? We are looking for someone to manage and expand our existing accounts within the Life Sciences Industry. You will work closely with our current clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to provide additional value through our broad portfolio of Emerson Automation and other services, technology, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand business at assigned accounts with IT and automation services.
  • Identify CapEx and OpEx spend as indicators of opportunity.
  • Understand customers' success factors to develop account plans and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to target new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain sales forecasts and achieve quarterly and yearly targets.
  • Ensure high standards in client interactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Align with Marketing and Service teams to meet customer needs.
  • Build strong industry relationships to grow the sales territory.
  • Leverage existing relationships to develop new opportunities within current accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience selling to leadership in the manufacturing and/or IT organizations of life sciences companies.
  • Industrial hardware, software, and services marketing experience in the life sciences industry is required.
  • A desire to market, sell, and support the following process control technologies:
    • Emerson DeltaV DCS (Distributed Control System)
    • Emerson Syncade MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
    • AspenTech
    • PLC
    • Analytics
    • AI (Artificial Intelligence)
    • ML (Machine Learning)
    • Data Lake
    • Operational Intelligence
    • Hardware and Software
    • Cybersecurity
    • Technical Services
    • Digital Transformation
    • Industry 5.0
    • IIoT
  • Ability to market products, resource-based process control solutions, and capital project offerings.
  • Operations or engineering experience within the life sciences manufacturing industry is required.
  • Presentation and communication skills suitable for a technical customer base.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
