Systems Sales Coordinator
The Systems Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting systems sales engineers with comprehensive administrative tasks within a collaborative team setting. This position demands a high level of organization, proficiency in various software tools, and an aptitude for customer service. The individual in this role will handle a diverse range of responsibilities outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage purchase orders and change orders using IFS ERP and web portals for Emerson technology.
- Coordinate basic project hardware orders set up by project management, ensuring accurate transmission within our systems.
- Support systems sales engineers with sales quotes, order entry, and project coordination.
- Develop and maintain streamlined processes to reduce administrative tasks.
- Oversee project administration and maintain related documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, factory personnel, finance, and internal teams.
- Prepare Emerson course quotations, manage registrations, and facilitate training logistics.
- Assist with customer inquiries, product information, and portal management.
- Manage product inventory, shipping, and documentation creation.
- Generate order status reports, manage document control, and execute other customer service tasks.
- Maintain customer data in factory systems for future proposal support.
- Provide product information, respond to inquiries, and manage customer portals.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in sales administration, including database management, is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Customer-oriented with a strong team-oriented approach.
- Capable of effective collaboration with sales managers, application engineers, and external sales staff.
- Familiarity with business concepts and the significance of meeting deadlines is beneficial.
- Technical experience is preferred due to the technical nature of the role.
