Sr. Network Engineer

Summary
We are seeking skilled Network Engineer to join our team, providing advanced network support services to enhance our LAN/WAN infrastructure. This role involves both project work and daily tasks, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Cisco hardware including switches and routers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Configure and maintain Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls to protect network integrity.
- Utilize Cisco ISE for secure network access and identity management.
- Implement and troubleshoot networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, and TLS SIP.
- Create and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation for support, audit, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for the IT team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Engage in and lead proof-of-concept initiatives to explore new technologies and solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and attend annual on-site meetings/demonstrations.
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware and IOS.
- Proficiency with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls.
- Strong understanding of Cisco ISE.
- Experience with wireless, MPLS, Private IP, and TLS SIP technologies.
- Ability to create comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
- Experience in Data Center technologies, including storage (FC, FCIP), virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and Cisco UCS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical initiatives.
- Willingness to work standard business hours with availability for on-call support.
